TESTIMONIALS
St. Paul School has been everything we wanted and expected—a challenging academic program, individual attention to our kids' needs, opportunities to try new things in a safe environment, and a wonderful community of parents who believe in the school's mission. We are particularly gratified by the dedication and commitment of the faculty to the well-being of each child and the presence of God in each classroom.

I love being able to walk in the school and the teachers, principal and office staff know me by name and ask how I am doing. To my husband and me, St. Paul means family – not just a school where we drop our children off in the morning.

I would like to say, I have put 3 children through Catholic education. I have been active in all my children's education and monitored and jumped in and talked to the teachers when needed. I have not met a teacher at St. Paul who did not go out of there way to help my child as well as me. Most of the teachers I would consider above average and contacted me before a problem got past 1-2 days. With the advent of EDline I can now observe the daily progress of my child. In the past at other schools, I have spent a lot of time in the principal's office trying to get answers to questions about my Child's education I am proud to say I have never had a worry that I needed to go to the office over at St. Paul's. The school is run professionally by professional teachers and staff.

My husband and I chose to switch our daughter from a larger area catholic school to St. Paul so she would benefit from the smaller class size by receiving the individualized attention she needs. Our worries of the effect of the switch were quickly relinquished by the wonderful welcome we received from the entire school faculty, students, and parents as well as the parish of St. Paul Church. This kind of family like atmosphere along with the academic excellence and dedication of the teachers and faculty we have experienced while at St. Paul is the very reason that this will be our school and parish for many, many years to come.

We have been members of St. Paul Church and school for 10 years. Our older son has since graduated and is a junior in high school. Our other son is in 7th grade. We believe St. Paul School gives the students a well-rounded education and really prepares them for high school. We really like the small school atmosphere. You never feel like you are just a number on a school roster. If there is a problem or concern, the teachers and principal are very willing to talk to you. The families at St. Paul are great! We have made friends that I know we will have for years to come. We know we made the right decision in sending our boys to St. Paul!

I am a former student of St. Paul. I graduated in 2004, went to Holy Cross, graduated in 2008, and now I am currently attending Morehead State University on a volleyball scholarship. St. Paul is a unique and amazing school. I had a great experience there from kindergarten through 8th grade. I felt like when I was a freshman at Holy Cross, I was well prepared academically as well as socially. The teachers at St. Paul are truly great people. They are the most dedicated people I have ever been around. You can tell by the way they teach that they love what they do. There is a certain student-to-teacher relationship that I had at St. Paul that was very comforting when I walked into school every day. I believe that it is important for the students to know that their teachers are ones they can trust and help them when they need it.

Not only was I prepared academically, I was also prepared spiritually. At St. Paul, we went to a school mass every week and also had class masses. I also went on a retreat, which was one of the most fun things I experienced there. In addition, we had religion class, which I think is very important. I learned so much just from that one class, and is something that will be with me the rest of my life. I feel like the teachers there prepared us well for our 1st Communion, Penance, and Confirmation. Those are very important steps in our Catholic faith, making the relationship one has with God even stronger.

You grow close to the people you spend nine or ten years with at the beginning of your life. St. Paul offers so many extracurricular activities for academics and athletics. I would strongly encourage students to get involved at St. Paul because not only do you get a close relationship with the people around you, but you also learn so much from it. By playing four sports and being in different clubs, I learned the importance of leadership, sportsmanship, and how to work well with others. As you move on in life, the experience shows through all the things you are taught and have learned from the people at St. Paul.

I am still very much a part of St. Paul and go there every chance I get. Since I’ve graduated, I have seen all the new things they have to offer. They keep adding more unique and fun things for their students. All the faculty and staff at St. Paul are wonderful people which shows that they only want the best for their students and for them to succeed in life.

Sending our girls to St. Paul has been everything we wanted. They are challenged academically and spiritually, they are surrounded by a committed staff that truly cares about the students, and most importantly, it is a family atmosphere.

The St. Paul tradition and experience is like no other, it makes you proud to be part of such a special community. There are many opportunities to get involved and be part of your children’s life. You make life time friends and most importantly you understand that sending your children to St. Paul is helping build the foundation for their success in anything they choose to do.

I chose St. Paul as the school for my kindergartener because of the school size. I was seeking a smaller school environment because I felt it would offer more individualized attention. At that time, I also made St. Paul my church home. Eight years later, I now have a 7th grader, 6th grader and 2nd grader attending and know I made the right decision. My children have developed strong relationships with their teachers and their peers, and view their school and church life in a positive way.

In this era of mega-parishes and combined schools, St. Paul’s offers the parish experience of worshiping and working together to educate our children both academically and in faith. I can’t imagine being anywhere else!

Our children transferred from Most Blessed Sacrament to St. Paul due to MBS merging with three other parochial schools. We wanted our children to continue to receive the individualized attention that comes with having small class sizes. Our children have blossomed academically, and spiritually while at St. Paul. The St. Paul Community is truly a family and embraces everyone who walks through the doors.

My children attended their first year at St. Paul for the 08/09 school year. My daughter will be graduating from 8th grade this year and my son will be entering the 7th grade. I have found the staff to be very pleasant, patient, helpful and encouraging. My experience has been one that has provided a high level of satisfaction with the quality of education and moral development my children have received. One of my children has ADD and his struggle with school has been ever present, a constant up hill battle for all involved. The patient and highly dedicated staff at St. Paul have truly helped develop a positive learning experience for him, and have made a monumental difference in his self esteem and his ability to learn. The investment and sacrifice for a quality education dramatically pales in comparison to the positive results you will see in your children. St. Paul clearly offers a knowledgeable, caring and compassionate learning environment and is highly recommended when choosing an educational institution for your children.

We chose to send our children to St. Paul School due to the small size. You really do have the opportunity to meet a lot of people and know the children and other families that attend. The teachers and staff are truly dedicated and want to be there. We wanted our children to be able to learn in a safe, Christian environment. At St. Paul they have that opportunity. Our children love their school due to the small class size and the ability to get to know everyone not only in their class, but in the whole school.

My husband and I chose to send our two children to Saint Paul because we wanted them to have the advantage of smaller class sizes for individual attention as well as a family oriented school that goes out of their way to make sure the parents are involved and informed. I have one child in 2nd grade that has attended since Kindergarten and one child that is currently enrolled in the Pre-Kindergarten program and we couldn't ask for better, more caring teachers. My children love going to school and it is due to the warm and comfortable atmosphere created by the staff of Saint Paul.

Having religion incorporated into their learning experience is also a very important benefit to our children having a well-rounded education. I love that Father Dismus talks to the children on their level and helps them understand the meaning of the liturgies. My family and I have recently joined the Saint Paul parish due to the mergers and we feel we have been welcomed into the church community and it has really been a great experience for us.

We choose to send our children to St. Paul Parish School for numerous reasons. In light of the planned mergers of many of the area Catholic schools, we were looking for a good Catholic school with a small and personal feel. At St. Paul, we believe, we have found that. We have three children currently enrolled, and they could not be happier. The family atmosphere, as well as, faculty and staff involvement with the students extend outside of school into extracurricular and parish activities, which reinforces the core Christian values that we want for our children. Our children’s experiences at St. Paul have helped to create a great foundation for our children to continue to grow and learn academically, spiritually, and socially.

Eighteen years ago, I was given the golden opportunity to start the kindergarten program here at St. Paul. This program has been my “dream job.” I treasure my time here at St. Paul because of the family-oriented atmosphere. Every family, every faculty member, and the parish staff are committed to the education, religious and academic, of each and every student. Being small in size allows each student to be known by name, and we as a faculty can collaborate on academic plans to help advance each one at their own pace. This allows each of our students to be successful. St. Paul has many opportunities for each child to be involved in, academic teams, athletic teams, and charitable activities. I am proud to be involved with the “Prayer Partner” program in which an eighth grader and kindergartener are paired up to work on activities which enhance learning and religious faith. The little ones admire the wisdom of their older friends and feel so important when the older children call them by name, or give them a high five in the hall.

St. Paul gave my three daughters an excellent educational base which they used to further their academic careers. All are now employed in the medical field.

As a “senior” faculty member, I am thankful for the lovely and caring families I have had the opportunity to have known, the sweet “little ones” I have had the privilege to have been their teacher “mom” and all the caring faculty members I have worked alongside of. St. Paul has been good to me and my family, and I have been blessed with the opportunity to have been involved with this parish community school for all these years.”
